My Story

Becoming     Sage

→ from island hustler to global build. Sage Adams is a visionary entrepreneur, systems strategist, and man of faith, committed to building businesses that solve meaningful problems and create a lasting, generational impact.

Humble beginnings

Gangs on the corner, fights after school, suspension slips piling up. We bounced around a lot between living in Pupuole, Waipahu, Waimalu, Papakolea, and even lived in a parked car. One night I heard from my grandparents that your mom had been in a car accident, I was seven!

Overnight I became my moms caretaker. Survival became life. My relatives swore I’d die or be locked up by eighteen.

The streets gave me a chip the size of mauna kea

and the raw material for everything that came next.

At ten, I found refuge in hip-hop. I would fill notebooks with rhymes, save all my money to buy studio equipment, and take my aggression out in freestyle battles. It was a blast, and I made a name for myself. Notebooks were cheaper than therapy, and this passion led to multiple albums that we released on the streets.

As I got older, I wanted to share my story with my kids through music. I released two albums: “Deadly Se7en” in 2019, which shared part of my journey, and “RageWithSage” in 2020, which explored my alter ego. My youngest son knows all my music and lyrics by heart. He’s my biggest fan and greatest achievement as an artist.

My roots

Discipline learned through fighting

Fighting

My martial arts journey began at six when I started karate. By sixteen, I was running at dawn and training in boxing and Muay Thai, which was my first taste of discipline. My last sanctioned fight in 2004 ended with my opponent suffering broken ribs. However, the grief from losing my coach halted my rise to Nationals. In 2020, I embraced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which continues to teach me valuable life lessons. I still teach the sweet science whenever gloves are needed. Our kids now train to slay their opponents – the obstacles within themselves.

My mother’s accident. my kids’ future. pushed me into business.

From real estate and jewelry to Neue Auto (launched during Covid and still award-winning), I later built Atom Corp, Netti Pro, and BOSS, a staffing company transforming how businesses scale while creating global opportunities for underserved communities.
